Kanye West has thrown his hat in the political ring with new song “To The World” off the highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation. He damns Republican Mitt Romney. Or is he praising him? Check out the album.

The song, which also features R. Kelly is about Kanye’s favorite subject. No not pussy… money. On it, he damns Romney with faint praise. West raps:

“Deeze n**gas tryin’ to hold me back,
Deeze n**gas tryin’ to hold me back,
I’m just trying to protect my stacks
Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.
Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”

Romney, a mult-millionaire, has been under fire during the presidential campaign for paying a lower percentage of income taxes on his extensive wealth than an average American family. He’s also refused to release most of his tax returns.

Romney was also featured on a rap by Nicki Minaj on Lil Wayne’s cover of “Mercy.”

“I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney
You lazy b—-es is f—ing up the economy.”

But she later confirmed that she wasn’t referring to her own political leanings; rather she said she was just being sarcastic.

She supports President Obama, who appeared to have been briefed by his staff in case Minaj came up during any interviews. When a radio station interviewer popped the question, he was quick with an answer.

Cruel Summer is expected to be released next week, although four tracks “New God Flow,” “Clique,” “Cold,” “Don’t Like” and “Mercy” have already gone viral. The entire album followed today. It includes colaborations with Jay-Z, Big Sean, Pusha T, 2 Chainz and Ghostface Killah.

Other collaborating artists include CyHi Da Prynce, Kid Cudi, D’Banj, John Legend, Teyana Taylor, Chief Keef and Jadakiss.
