Celebrities from Miley Cyrus to Selena Gomez make a living dressing up and playing make believe, so you’d think they’d low key it a Halloween. Not So. Celebrities of all stripes went wild with costumes that ranged from the outlandish to the ultra sexy.
They added to the fun by posting scads of photos on Twitter to show off their creations. And, some may surprise you.
R&B singer Chris Brown definitely took the prize for the most offensive costume of the night. He and his posse of friends dressed up as Taliban terrorists, complete with Arab garb, beards and weapons, fortunately fake.
Celebrities Go All Out for Halloween
Many celebrities dressed up as movie characters, super heroes, and assortment of vampires and sex pots; some even dressed up as other celebrities.
Cyrus wore a hilarious costume posing as rapper Nicki Minaj complete with a huge blonde wig, a leopard print leotard and a well-padded posterior.
But she was edged out in the reality costume contest by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. She dressed up as Lindsay Lohan. No word on what costume, if any, Lindsay wore on All Hallows Eve.
Gomez got by with a little face paint, but looked cute as a ferocious (and sexy) feline.
Heidi Klum, who is known for her elaborate costumes, dressed up in a gold Cleopatra outfit complete with an elaborate Egyptian headdress.
Fellow model Gisele Bundchen also dressed as Cleopatra, but her costume was more of a takeoff on Elizabeth Taylor’s look from her 1962 movie with Richard Burton.
Glee’s Chris Colfer takes the prize for most creative. He dressed up as Marie Antoinette’s guillotine. Really!
Kim Kardashian, also a big Halloween fan, dressed up as a blonde mermaid, while boyfriend Kanye West dressed as a sailor.
Kardashian was also later photographed as Catwoman, a la Michelle Pfeiffer, from her 1992 film “Batman Returns.” Kanye was dressed as Batman, of course.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian take the prize for celebrity duo. They dressed up as John Travolta playing Danny Zuko, leader of the T-Birds, and Olivia Newton-John as girlfriend Sandy Olsen from the 1978 musical film “Grease.”
