Justin Bieber ramped up his hip-hop lifestyle, joining the entourage of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bieber was accompanied by rappers 50-cent, and Lil’ Wayne.
Mayweather was fighting Mexican boxer Miguel Cotto for the super welterweight title at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas.
The 18-year-old singer was put to good use; He was one of the champ’s belt boys. He got to carry two of Mayweather’s championship belts into the ring.
Rapper 50 Cent also carried some of Mayweather’s championship belts. Among other luminaries in the ring for preliminary ceremonies were former world champion boxer Oscar De La Hoya. Also from Mexico he was in Cotto’s corner.
Bieber followed Mayweather into the arena and then clambered into the ring for the pre-fight introductions. He sat ringside for the fight and rejoined Mayweather after he won in a 12-round unanimous decision.
Bieber clearly showed his excitement as the introductions got underway. he lifted the belts in the air and jumped up and down with a broad smile on his face. He was dwarfed by the fighters, even though they only weighed 150 pounds.
