“Battleship” director Peter Berg met with New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck at the NYC screening of “Battleship” aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on May 15, 2012.

“Is there any way to make me look bigger”? Berg joked to reporters when posing alongside the muscular 6’5″ Tuck.

The duo were on hand to present an exclusive screening of the sci-fi action flick, “Battleship,” sponsored by the Subway restaurant chain to honor military heroes, including U.S. Army Col. Gregory D. Gadson, a decorated Iraq War veteran who lost both of his legs to a roadside bomb in 2007.

“Tonight, Subway would like to recognize our nation’s military heroes and say, ‘thank you,’ ” said Subway senior vice president Tony Pace. “The U.S. military played a significant role in the making of “Battleship.” Given our involvement in the film, we felt it was important to honor these service members.”

“Battleship,” which co-stars Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna, hits U.S. theaters May 18.
