Justin Bieber went with a preppy pop star look dressed in a yellow shirt with light colored pants and vest and high-top Chucks at the Billboard Music Awards, and show some serious dancing to his new single “Boyfriend.”
The Biebs was greeted with loud screams and broke into his number under the gaze of an overhead camera.
The 18-year-old hopped and skipped around the stage next to dancers in mime makeup then he moved to the center stage where he began dancing with six backup dancers. From there he climbed a small stage and turned an electric blue under a shower of black light.
The stage filled with dancers as Justin moved down to the main stage and joined by some sexy, scantily clad girls and male dancers in masks, he started busting some moves.
He looked more like Justin Timberlake and mentor Usher, showing off some swag dance moves. Earlier he had accepted an award for Top Social Artist, whatever that is.
“First of all, I just want to say how much of a blessing it’s been the past three, four years, just growing up in front of everybody,” he said. “I want to thank all my fans, ’cause the Internet is where I got my start. I want to thank my boy [and manager] Scooter Braun for all he’s done. He’s more than just a manager to me.
“I want to thank Usher. He takes the time to really care. I just want to say thank you so much to my mom and my dad and to God.
I could keep rambling forever. I just want to thank you so much. Swaggie.”
Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer songwriter from Canada that Bieber has been mentoring followed right after with her hit single “Call Me Maybe.”
It looked like a you-get-me-if-you-also-take-her kind of deal.
