Kristen Stewart Searching for Movie Roles That Define Her 1“Twilight” hottie Kristen Stewart is still looking for a movie role that will help define who she wants to be as an actress. But one thing is certain, she doesn’t want that character to be Bella Swan, the introverted school girl turned vampire.

As much as the “Twilight” films established her international fan base, Bella was restrained as a character and limited in scope.

“I acknowledge that people will absolutely identify me with Bella forever and it’s had a hand in giving me everything that I have, which is a lot,” she told the UK’s Radio Times magazine.

“It’s undeniable that a lot of people will know me for that. But whether, personally, that was the one that defined me? Probably not,” she added.

Kristen seems to be looking for roles that involve a range of emotions or are unusual. During her recent promotional tour for “Snow White and the Huntsman,” she said she was drawn to Snow White because of her strength.

“My character is definitely a born leader. I mean, it’s literally pumping through those veins, but it’s been taken from her; she was put away when she was seven years old, and her mother and her father were killed basically right in front of her,” she says in a promo trailer.

Kristen is also keen to play Peyton Loftis in “Lie Down in Darkness.” The character is complex and the plot suggests the possibility of an incestuous relationship with her father.

“I want to play Peyton more than anything I can possibly taste or touch in my life. I want to play her so bad. They’re the most [bleeped]-up family,” Stewart told Elle magazine.

Kristen has already tested herself in similar roles in “Welcome to the Rileys,” where she plays a down-and-out street urchin, and “Cherry Bomb,” a biopic about 70s rocker Joan Jett.

Her latest film, “On the Road,” with Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund, is her boldest yet.

Kristen plays a promiscuous teen, Marylou, who gets married at 15 and pushes the limits on free sex with husband Dean Moriarity, a fictionalized character based on Kerouac’s “On the Road” traveling budding Neal Cassady, played by Hedlund.

“I love pushing, I love scaring myself!” Stewart told reporters about her topless part at the Cannes Film Festival.

“The reason you want to do the job is that you read it and you’re provoked on some level and then it’s just taking that further and you just love it. And I always want to get as close to the experience as I possibly can,” she said.

She has a long career ahead of her, and will likely have many roles to choose from. But to so many fans, she will always be Bella.
