Justin Bieber always seems to be one step ahead of himself, sometimes to his disadvantage. The singer suffered a head injury that caused him to pass out after a show in Paris, France. Doctors said he had suffered a concussion.
The 18-year-old teen sensation was performing on stage, when he decided to take a break between songs. His mind definitely must have been on something else.
Was he worrying about girlfriend Selena Gomez who is facing questioning by police over his alleged assault of a photographer? Or was he thinking about his performance or the next stop in his tour?
Whatever it was, as he made his way backstage he walked right into a glass wall, slamming his head. Justin told gossip site TMZ that he was dazed at first, but was able to continue with the show.
After wrapping the performance he returned to his dressing room where he suddenly passed out. Justin was unconscious for about 15 seconds before he awoke. Doctors later said he’d suffered a concussion, which can be serious, depending on a number of circumstances.
Head injuries that cause someone to lose consciousness are always dangerous an unpredictable.
Actress Natasha Richardson stuck her head while skiing in March 2009 and thought nothing of it. She was able to talk and act normally and twice refused medical attention. but a few hours later, she developed a headache and was rushed to a hospital.
She died three days later from a brain hemorrhage. Fortunately, Justin seems out of danger.
He flew to Oslo, Norway earlier this week to film performances on location in a number of cities for his “Around the World” television special.
“I will see u again Glass,” he later tweeted about the accident. “I will have my revenge. BIEBER vs GLASS. MGM LAS VEGAS 2013. lol. #GottaLaughAtYourself.”
