Lady Gaga Hit on Head, Suffers Concussion at Concert (watch!) 1Lady GaGa’s concerts are often controlled mayhem. In her latest incident, she was nailed in the head with a pole during a concert at Auckland, New Zealand early today (June 10).

A dancer was taking down the pole, which Gaga had used as a prop during her performance of her song “Judas.”

Gaga had turned around and was picking up another stage prop. As she stood, the dancer was lowering the pole and caught her right on the head.

The singer grabbed her head briefly, then ran offstage with the dancer.

She came came out and told the crowd she thought she’d suffered a concussion from the blow, but would go on with the show. “I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don’t you worry I will finish this show.”

The 26-year-old singer has had more than one stage mishap in her career, usually related to her outlandish costumes.

Last September, Gaga literally towered over everyone and she’s only 5’1″ tall, until she came crashing down at a Vanity Fair photo shoot with Annie Leibowitz. She was wearing what had to be 24″ heels and stilts to pose for the photo in a flowing gold dress.

The “Born This Way” singer fell yet again during a performance in Atlanta in April a year ago, following a tumble from her piano after the bench slipped out from under her during a show in Houston, Texas, a few weeks eariler.
