But she ranked 43rd overall when men and women are grouped together and all the women on the list earned considerably less than the men, according to Forbes magazine, which ranks actors annually.

Stewart reportedly earned $34.5 million last year, including $25 million for the last two Twilight films, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2. Stewart also got a big payday from her other blockbuster “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Cameron Diaz finished second with $34 million after her movie, “Bad Teacher” turned out to be a smash hit. The film grossed more than $200 million against a cost of $20 million, and Diaz reportedly shared in the hefty profits.

She also pulled down paychecks for “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “The Green Hornet.”

Sandra Bullock was third with an estimated $25 million, although her last film, “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” bombed at the box office. She is still one of the most in-demand actresses, according to the magazine. She next set to appear in big-budget sci-fi flick, “Gravity.”

In all, the 10 actresses who made the list earned a collective $200 million compared with $361 million earned by the top 10 men.

Earnings are used by the magazine to compose their “Celebrity 100” list of top actors and actresses which also takes into account a fame quotient. To determine gross income, the magazine considered upfront pay, profit participation, residuals and fees from endorsements and advertising.
