Kim Kardashian, Beyonce Together, But Apart at BET 1Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé were together, but they still seemed worlds apart at the BET Awards Show last night. They posed for photos, but had little interaction in public, at least, beyond that.

Kim and Beyoncé were like a couple of book ends, seated on either side of their men, Jay-Z and Kanye West, who were sandwiched together in the middle in the audience.

It was impossible for the two women to talk, and according to reports, the interacted very little, although the did pose for photos together. It seemed like seating arrangements were purposely designed to maintain distance.

It was a stark contrast from their chummy display at a Watch The Throne concert earlier this month. The hung out together in the mosh pit during the shot.

But it was another story last night. Kim spent most of her time talking with rapper Nicki Minaj, who was seated next to her. Kim also kept up her official duties, tweeting during the show about her upcoming reality TV episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashian,”

Kim and Kanye were also not spied on the red carpet prior to the ceremony, according to reports. This is really the first time Kim has stepped outside her reality world, made up mainly of her family, where anything goes and if it’s caught on tape, all the better.

Beyoncé, on the other hand, is known to go out of her way to keep her private life out of the tabloids. It’s pretty easy to see why the two don’t mix. Kim might be able to gain the singer’s confidence, but only so long as she draws a line on her reality world and doesn’t drag Beyoncé into it.
