Will Angelina Jolie cut off Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane Pitt, now that she has gone public slamming President Obama, same-sex marriage and a woman’s right to an abortion.
Jolie’s father, the actor Jon Voight has been just as outspoken in support of conservative candidates and issues.
Pitt’s screed was published in The Springfield News-Leader, her hometown newspaper, on Tuesday (July 3), one day before the nation celebrated its independence on July Fourth.
She urged voters to support Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican candidate. “Any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon,” she wrote.
Romney is having a hard time convincing the conservative Christians to support him because they think Mormonism is an abomination and false religion.
She also refers to the president, derisively as Barack Hussein Obama, often used to draw attention to the fact that his father is from Kenya. She specifically cites his support of abortion and same-sex marriage.
Jolie, who is fervent in her political views supports same-sex marriage. Both she and Pitt say they have held off getting married until everyone has the same right. Obama recently endorsed gay marriage.
“I’ve said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this country had the right to get married,” Pitt told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview.
Ironically, Pitt told the Hollywood Reporter that she’s always mis-portrayed as a “she-devil” and said there’s “not an ounce of malice in her.”
But she’s filled with hellfire and damnation for anyone who doesn’t share her views.
