Mila Kunis is not afraid to try anything once both on screen and off. And, that includes having blood and dildos thrown at her. So says James Franco, who interviews the “Oz: The Great and Powerful” actress for Interview magazine.

“I guess you could say that I have no shame,” she says laughing. “I mean, if you think about all the stuff that you’ve made me do—just you alone, James…”

Kunis, 29, was in danger of being typecast as Jackie Burkhart, the nerdy suburban teen in “That ’70s Show,” the popular sit-com that aired for eight consecutive seasons from 1998 to 2006.

When the show ended after its 200th episode, co-stars Toper Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama all seemed more destined to hit the fast track in Hollywood.

Kunis, on the other hand, made a slow steady climb, appearing in three so-so films before breaking out in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” in 2008. After that the roles started getting better and better, from “Max Payne” in 2009 and “The Book of Eli” a year later to comedy “Date Night,” with Steve Carrell and Tina Fey.

Her role in psychological thriller “Black Swan,” opposite Natalie Portman, set her apart in Hollywood. Of course, it helped that she had matured from nerdy teen into an exotic beauty with deep, soulful eyes.

She’s also emerging as a fashion icon. She was just re-upped by Dior to rep for the brand’s fall/winter handbag collection.

“So why do you feel secure doing things that other actresses might not feel secure doing?” Franco asked.

“Because I really have no shame, James. Let’s just call a spade a spade,” she says matter-of-factly.

“I think that certain things are funny and certain things are okay to make fun of—including myself. I think that you have to laugh at the absurdity of this entire industry and the absurdity of what it is we do. If I didn’t, I’d go crazy,” she adds.
