Kristen Stewart: Swayed to Cheat by Racy 'On the Road' Role? 1

Kristen Stewart’s life may be imitating art. Her sex scandal with a 41-year-old married man has some parallels with her racy character in her new movie “On the Road.” The new trailer shows Kristen like you’ve never seen her.

Kristen identified with the movie and her promiscuous, free-swinging ’50s-era beat character Marylou for the Jack Kerouac book by the same name.

Marylou gets married at 15 and pushes the limits on free sex with husband Dean Moriarity, a fictional character in the book, based on Kerouac’s traveling budding Neal Cassady. “I love pushing, I love scaring myself!” Stewart told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival, where the picture screened May 23.

In one racy scene, Stewart is topless in a menage-a-trois while driving down a dusty highway. She masturbates the characters, although none of the actors show full-frontal nudity. Stewart chided other actors for only going halfway with on-screen nudity.

“To watch genuine experience on film is just so much more interesting than seeing (it faked).” In fake scenes, she added, “You can see the tape holding up the pasties. I wanted to do it.”

Stewart told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that playing the teenage bride of Garrett Hedlund’s Dean Moriarty was “emotionally stimulating.”

“I love Marylou, as a character she’s very vivid, she jumps right off the page and smacks you in the face with her tongue. Not in a bad way!” she said.

Kristen Stewart First Look Topless in On the Road

“She never sold herself, that was one thing about her that was really very different from everybody involved in that movement. She wasn’t rebelling against anything, she was so just being herself.

“She’s so completely human, she never made herself a commodity. I think if you were to choose one character that embodied the spirit of this book it was her,” she added.

Given that, it may come as no surprise that Stewart harbored her own sense of adventure and sexual freedom. Her dalliance with Director Rupert Sanders undoubtedly made her feel like Marylou.

The new trailer, released today (Aug. 6) shows Marylou dancing like no one’s watching. She looks totally involved in the scene. The movie also stars Sam Riley, Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams and Terrence Howard.

The film’s new release date is Dec 21. Until then check out the trailer.
