Jennifer Lawrence Disses Kristen Stewart Over Affair; Believe It? 1

Jennifer Lawrence appears in Vogue’s Sept. fashion issue.

“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence is trying to separate herself from rival Kristen Stewart. She has reportedly told friends that she would never cheat with a married man like Stewart did with “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders.

Lawrence, 22, who played Katniss Everdeen in the sci-fi fantasy blockbuster, is said to have asserted that Stewart could have avoided falling for Sanders’ wiles.

“Recently, although she didn’t say Kristen’s name directly, she couldn’t resist having a subtle dig at her rival. She told a group of friends that she would never two-time [boyfriend Nicholas Hoult],” a supposed source told gossip site radaronline.

“She was clearly referring to Kristen’s liaison with Rupert,” which crushed boyfriend Robert Pattinson, the source said.

But already the story is being cast in doubt. It’s unlikely that Lawrence would say something to purposely hurt Kristen. Remarkably virtually no-one in Hollywood has openly condemned Stewart, and Lawrence doesn’t want to, or need to be the first.

Lawrence reportedly said many older men, especially powerful movie directors, have hit on her, and she’s spurned them, or at least the married ones.

Stewart was recently tapped over Lawrence to play the lead role in an adaptation of William Styron’s novel, “Lie Down in Darkness,” which supposedly created some tension between the two.

“Kristen is obviously down about what happened with her and Robert Pattinson, but she was thrilled when she found out she beat Jennifer Lawrence to a movie role,” a source supposedly told the Web site.

“She is insanely jealous of Jennifer, not just because she feels ‘The Hunger Games’ has stolen some of Twilight’s thunder, but because everyone was talking about her as such a beautiful actress.”

The quote, however, sounds totally out of character with Kristen. She’s actually been trying to distance herself from “Twilight” now that the film series is ending in November. Instead, she favors edgier indie roles.

Best to take this story with a grain of salt.
