Kanye West and Kim Kardashian last appeared together at the Met Fashion Gala.

Kim Kardashian must not follow the news. Only days after golfer Sergio Garcia “deeply offended” Tiger Woods by suggesting he would serve him fried chicken for dinner, Kim posted a video cooking… fried chicken… for baby daddy Kanye West.

Was this some kind of sick joke? Apparently not. Kim seemed oblivious to the connection as the unwed mother talked about her “famous soul food meal” for her baby daddy.

She posted the video of her cooking for “my babe,” on new video website Likely Kim was being paid to promote it and just posted something without giving it a second thought.

In the video, she’s hard at work over a hot stove, as momager Kris Jenner looks on. “I’m making fried chicken,” she boasts.

Along with the greasy treat, she also revealed that she was making a sweet potato soufflé, green beans and “mac and cheese.”

And to top it off, she adds: “My mom made brownies!” Just how many calories is this meal packing? Hard to say, but it would give a Burger King’s double bacon cheeseburger a run for its money.

Garcia was trying to come back with a witty aside when he was asked at a European Tour dinner last week if he would have Woods over for dinner during the U.S. Open. “We will have him round every night,” García said. “We will serve fried chicken.”

The comment was a reprise of golfer Fuzzy Zoeller’s 1997 comment when he dismissively made a reference to fried chicken while dissing Woods, then a hard-charging up and comer.

Woods said he was offended by Garcia’s remark, and the Spanish golfer quickly apologized when one of his sponsors threatened to walk.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Fred Mckissack Jr. clued in Garcia: “Black people do not have a natural craving for fried chicken. Or collard greens. Or malt liquor. Some of us – like me – can’t dance or hold a tune,” he wrote.

Kanye can sing and dance, but so far no word on his taste for fried chicken.
