Miley Cyrus joins a slew of other models an actresses in a skin cancer campaign for Marc Jacobs.
Jacobs is using her nude but artfully covered body for tee-shirts and other clothing as part of the fashion brand’s Marc’s “Protect The Skin You’re In” campaign.
At least some of the proceeds will be used to support the New York University Skin Cancer Institute and the NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
“She is talented in many mediums from music to film. [Miley] really has a very good, solid head on her shoulders. I adore her,” said Jacobs’ business partner Robert Duffy.
Miley Joins Marc Jacob’s Skin Cancer Campaign
British Model and society girl, Cara Delevingne, fashion designer Victoria Beckham and supermodel Miranda Kerr have all stripped down for the cause, according to the fashion house.
Also appearing on shirts are Chloë Sevigny, Heidi Klum, Dita Von Teese, Doutzen Kroes and Erin Wasson.
Most of Miley’s modesty is protected by some well placed lettering and strategically placed hand, but her hot, rockin’ body is unmistakable. Miley has been on a major workout campaign for the past year or so and has never looked better.
The tee-shirts are reasonable prices at $35, and are only sold at Marc Jacobs boutiques in the United States. They will go on sale in Europe next month.
It’s possible, however, that message may be lost in the media, however. The object of the campaign is to encourage people to use sun screen outside during the hot summer months. But, well… check out the photos for yourself. Click on the images to supersize them!
