Kristin Chenoweth sings a hilarious parody of Anthony Weiner on the Tonight Show.
Weiner, who lost his seat in Congress two years ago over a sexting scandal, is caught up in a similar episode in the midst of his mayoral campaign.
Anthony Weiner’s Megalomania Is So Uncool; Enough Already
He’s doggedly staying in the race, even though most Democratic voters would like him to quit. Meanwhile, his sexting partner, Sydney Leathers, turns out to be a call girl who trolls the Internet for rich older men. She’s eyeing a porno to cash in on the scandal.
But Chenoweth has a solution to his problem, a make-over. And, she sang how she would do it to her hit song from the Broadway musical Wicked on Leno’s show Tuesday night (July 30).
She also clued-in Weiner to tune in over Twitter. “#weiner I have a song of advice for you…..watch the #TonightShow @jayleno TONIGHT,” she wrote.
Here’s a refrain from her song:
“I’ll teach you to zip your fly,
You won’t be that guy,
With a camera down his pants.
I’ll teach you what Tweets to Tweet
Something clean and sweet.”
Chenoweth was on the show to promote her upcoming concert in the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Aug. 23-24.
If that wasn’t hilarious enough, Chenoweth also recounted her bad “bedazzling” experience. Check out the videos below and follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest in humor and comedy.
