Spears, 31, was guest of honor at the “party in the desert,” an elaborate public relations stunt that was broadcast on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
“It’s crazy out here; it’s so chaotic,” she said after landing. “Actually, I got sick in the helicopter,” she revealed. “I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ But this is amazing.”
Britney personally confirmed a two-year deal to perform at the Las Vegas venue. Tickets go on sale Sept. 20 and cost $59 each. Spears is slated to perform 50 shows per year.
More than 1,300 fans were bused from Las Vegas to a spot outside of town in the Mohave Desert for the event. All attendees were required to be between five-feet and six-feet tall and it soon became apparent why. They were asked to hold up a placards to create a huge show poster so Brit could see it from the air.
“We wanted the environment to be that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they’re in the show with me,” Britney said. “I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good.”
Even though it was dark at 4am when the event was held, Britney worked it in oversized sunglasses.
Spears also revealed that her as yet untitled eight studio album would be released, Dec. 3, one day after her 32nd birthday.
