Paula Patton appeared on the ‘Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno and defended twerking.

Paula Patton, wife of “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke, is making the world safe for twerking one talk show at a time. She appeared on Jay Leno last night, and once again, defended his controversial duet with twerk queen Miley Cyrus.

Although she was there to talk about her new movie “Baggage Claim,” Jay was more interested in the baggage she was carrying from the MTV Video Music Awards.

Although the awards show aired nearly a month ago, Miley and Thick are still on everyone’s mind.

“I’m sure everyone has asked you about the Miley Cyrus thing,” Jay opened. “What’s the wife’s perspective, okay? When all that happened.”

Paula, who looked stunning in a tight-fitting orange dress said once again that she couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about.

“Obviously, they rehearsed it for days, so I knew about it. The funny thing was, he got off stage and I’m like, ‘You guys killed it; it was amazing.’

“Woke up the next morning and I got all these texts: ‘I’m praying for you; I’m hear for you; If you want to talk…’ and I’m like ‘What?’

“It made sense to me,” she said of the performance. “Obviously, I thought that foam finger was really respectful.”
