Kimmel was poking fun at him in his monologue and, well, nobody does that to God.
Kimmel zeroed in on Kanye’s widely publicized BBC Radio 1 interview earlier this week. The talk show hose found it just a little bit hilarious that West would proclaim himself the new king of rock and roll.
“You’re not going to believe this, but he said a lot of weird stuff. He said he’s the No. 1 rock star on the planet…whatever planet he’s on,” he said.
“Does Kanye West know you’re not supposed to be your own hype man?”
West famously drops names, from Anna Wintour to rapper Pusha and complained about taking designs to fashion house Fendi in Rome and getting knocked down “over and over.” Then he goes on a rant about leather jogging pants.
“[We] brought the leather jogging pants to Fendi six years ago an they said ‘No.’ How many motha-fu*kers you see with leather jogging pants,” he said emphatically.
“I don’t know,” interjected Kimmel. “None?”
To make his point that Kanye looked childish, Kimmel had a couple of pre-teen re-enact the interview. That really set Kanye off.
“JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P**** IN YOUR LIFE…”
(And, this is the guy so in love with Kim Kardashian?)
“YOU CAN’T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY … IS THAT FUNNY? … OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???”
“SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F***ING BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!”
