Cyrus, who turns 21 in November, appeared on the show this morning (Oct. 7) after guest-hosting and being the musical guest on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
Miley held up her end of the deal on the sketch comedy show and matched SNL’s premiere ratings. The show was hosted by Tina Fey. She said she was excited to do the show.
“It was awesome,” she said. “I was so excited to be there. It’s kinda like what I was born to do, just from doing sit-coms and like balancing both.”

Laurer wasted no time going for titillation and zeroed in on Miley’s MTV Video Music Awards performance, as if it hasn’t been talked to death already. It was a hot mess, Lauer acknowledged, but it was a “strategic hot mess.”
“Did you go there that night and say look, ‘I’m going to do something. Some people are going to love it; some people are going to be offended by it, but people are going to be talking about it the next morning.”
Miley said no offense was intended, but it went exactly as planned and she said her fans got it.
Matt wanted to know if she was going through a sexual phase and got an answer he definitely wasn’t expecting. She dissed sex after 40. Matt just shook his head.
