Adele Scores With James Bond Theme Song 'Skyfall' (listen!)

Adele came to mind when producer Paul Epworth was looking for a singer who could add a “gravity and dynamic” to the new theme song for the latest James Bond film “Skyfall.” She was hesitant at first, but went along, and they may have produced a classic. The song was released today (Oct. 4), a day ahead of schedule after the tune leaked on a French radio station and it does not disappoint. “I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song … there’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a ‘Bond’ song,” the singer, real name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, said in a statement....

She gave the middle figure salute when execs at the Brit Awards, the UK equivalent of the Grammys, tried to cut off her acceptance speech. Miley Cyrus is fast becoming the voice of her generation for Bob Dylan's legacy. She performed a moving version of his song "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" on Jimmy Kimmel last night. Despite LL Cool J’s best efforts, Swift squeaks her part in a new Grammy commercial. Still it looked like it was good fun, and Taylor, 22, seems to have no problem laughing at herself at the end of the 30-second spot. Cool J, 44, will be hosting the 2012 Awards show, and Swift will be one of the feature performers along with Katy Perry, Adele, Rihanna, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean and Nicki Minaj ....
