Kate Middleton Topless Photos Banned in France by Court

Kate Middleton has been spared further embarrassment from topless photos in France. A court ruled today (Sept. 18) that Closer magazine is prohibited from publishing or distributing the photos. The magazine and photographer also face a criminal investigation. The ruling requires the magazine to turn over all copies of the photos to the royal couple no later than 24 hours from the time of the ruling. Failure to do so could result in a 10,000 euro fine. While the fine is considered a slap on the wrist, the magazine could be held in contempt of court if it refuses to comply with the order. That could lead to more serious penalties....

Photos of Kate Middleton topless have been published once again in Italian magazine Chi, which released a sampling of Kate nude on its Web site, but reserved 50 more for the latest edition of its magazine. The photos are of the same quality--grainy and blurred--as those published by French magazine Closer last week. The photo showed Diana lying in the wrecked Mercedes sedan being administered oxygen in the moments after the crash. The decision to publish the photo caused worldwide outrage. But Umberto Brindani, Chi's editor at the time, brushed off the criticism....

Kate Middleton Braces For More Topless Photos to Appear (photos)

Kate Middleton's topless romp is facing even wider exposure in Italian magazine Chi. It claims it has had the pick of more than 200 images of the Duchess sunbathing topless and will publish at least 50 in an upcoming 26-page special section on Monday (Sept. 17). The latest development comes as one photographer who was at the Chateau D’Aulet, where the royal couple were snapped told UK tabloids that there was no security present while she was there. The woman said the pool area where the royal couple lounged was in clear view of the road and passersby and questioned whether William and Kate should have been more circumspect. Although she took photos of the couple, none show Kate topless....
