“Sully,” a Clint Eastwood film starring Tom Hanks, is one of the most compelling movies of the year. Hard to believe the “Miracle on the Hudson” happened seven years ago. Even harder to believe is the cruel second-guessing faced by Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeff Skiles following their heroic actions. The backstory is almost as compelling as the landing itself. The subtle message is the airline would rather he tried to save the plane....

John Lloyd Young, who powered the Broadway musical Jersey Boys into the history books as Frankie Valli, reprises his role in the first trailer for Clint Eastwood’s movie adaption about the legendary pop group, The Four Seasons. The power is still there. Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda and Vincent Piazza co-star as Valli’s back up singers and Christopher Walken plays gangster Gyp De Carlo. Donnie Kehr, who was in on the Jersey Boys from the show’s beginning at the La Jolla Playhouse in California, also appears in the movie as Norm Waxman....
