Ed Sheeran kicked off the Fourth of July holiday on NBC’s “Today Show” this morning (July 4). Only problem is Sheeran is British, and well, the holiday marks U.S. independence from Great Britain. Why not a U.S. singer. If there is any day of the year to be patriotic, it’s Independence Day. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia. Of course, the Declaration marked the official beginning of the American Revolutionary War. ...

Taylor Swift’s latest song, by design or accident, has appeared online. The tune, titled “Everything Has Changed,” features UK popster Ed Sheeran. It’s a bouncy tune… literally, from her new album Red. The 22-year-old singer revealed that she wrote the song with Sheeran while they were playing around on her backyard trampoline. “We, for real, [were] sitting on my trampoline in my backyard cause we had been writing a song and I was like ‘Hey, I just got a trampoline.
