Novelty acts seemed to have the upper hand on "America's Got Talent" last night (Aug. 15), after the judges winnowed 12 acts picked from YouTube to four, which will move on to the semi-finals. The most curious was a bird act. Perhaps reflecting the eccentricities of the judges, Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, the acts chosen to advance were varied and... well, strange.
