Sesame Street Lampoons Oscar Movie ‘Birdman’ in Hilarious Spoof (see!)

The Sesame Street Workshop, producer of the kinder, gentler puppet show for kids, is also capable of wicked satire. It’s released a video that’s rapidly going viral, lampooning the Oscar-nominated movie “Birdman.” It stars… who else? Big Bird. The gentle giant is joined in the video by Caroll Spinney, who has voiced Big Bird on television for almost 50 years. The clip is a take-off of a scene widely featured from “Birdman,” in which star Michael Keaton has an existential conversation with his alter-ego superhero character....

Kevin Clash Learns Downside of Paying Off Teen Lovers

known if he paid off one teen lover, others would come out of the woodwork. After being sued by a second man who claims he had underage sex with him, Clash suddenly quit his job as the voice of Elmo on Sesame Street. The latest case involves Cecil Singleton, a 24-year-old man who claims he met Clash in in a gay phone chat room in 2003. He was 15 at the time and Clash would have been 32. The claims are similar to those by Sheldon Stephens, who agreed to accept a $125,000 settlement in exchange for recanting claims that he also had underage gay sex with Clash. He has since recanted his original recant in apparent violation of a settlement agreement....

Sesame Street Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash has been caught with his hand somewhere it doesn’t belong. Clash has taken a leave of absence following allegations he had sex with an underage boy, who has come forward after seven years. The reason for Clash’s decision to step back from the program is confusing because the alleged incident took place as long as seven years ago. The boy, who is now 23, come forward with the allegations earlier this year....
