Dutch model Doutzen Kroes covers the Vogue Spanish edition in a stunning editorial spread.

Doutzen Kroes has long been known as a bikini and lingerie model, thanks to her long legs and voluptuousness figure, but she turns to high fashion in the September issue of Vogue Spain, wearing designs by Prada, Versace, Ralph Lauren and others. Or almost nothing at all.

The Dutch model with the long blonde hair and mesmerizing blue eyes is also known for her brains and attitude that lacks the snotty pretension of so many far less accomplished models.

“I think I am average in Holland,” she once told a Vogue reporter. “They would never say, ‘Oh, you are so beautiful!’” That’s highly debatable.

The willowy five-foot, nine-inch tall model would light up any room anywhere in the world. Plus, she seems pretty grounded. She’s been married since 2010 to Sunnery James and gave birth in 2011 to son, Phyllon Joy Gorré.

Doutzen Kroes Sizzles in Black… Or Nothing

In Holland, she’s so revered Madam Tussaud’s has immortalized her in wax in its Amsterdam museum

She’s been a regular for Victoria’s Secret since 2004 and has been part of the elite Victoria’s Secret Angels since 2008. She’s walked every major runway in the world and repped for the world’s biggest brands.

She competed as a speed-skater growing up in Holland where skating is a national sport. And, it shows in her lean athletic body.

In the Vogue shoot, she poses for photographer Tom Munro in all-black ensembles, crop tops and sleeveless minis from Prada and Bottega Veneta. She also mixes and matches outfits by Wolford and Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren Collection and Tommy Hilfiger.

Oh… and there a couple of photos where she doesn’t wear any clothes at all. Check them out above and follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest fashion trends from all over the world.
