Kate Bosworth talks about her Oscar de la Renta wedding dress.

Kate Bosworth, who married Director Michael Polish last month with Montana’s big sky as a backdrop, talks about her stunning Oscar de la Renta wedding gown in a new video interview with Vogue magazine.

The 30-year-old actress and model began dating Polish in July two years ago while he was directing her in the film “Big Sur.”

She had previously dated actor Orlando Bloom (2002-2005) musician James Rousseau (2006-2009) and Alexander Skarsgård, her Swedish co-star in the film “Straw Dogs.”

She scored a series of breakout roles as Sandra Dee in Kevin Spacey’s 2004 movie “Beyond the Sea,” as Lois Lane in 2006’s “Superman Returns” (2006) and the 2008 film “21,” about high-stakes blackjack cheating at casinos in Las Vegas.

In the video, Bosworth is filmed trying on the dress at de la Renta’s New York City showroom.

“Seeing the dress, I was totally shocked at my complete lack of control over my emotions,” she says. “It’s a dress that reflects the love I have for my partner. It’s a reflection on my life; it’s a reflection on the woman I have become.”

She was drawn to the dress because the front looks so minimal, and when you turn around there’s “just this dramatic, glorious falls of fabric,” she adds.

“It looks like it has weight and heaviness to it, yet it feels light as air. There’s just so much poetry and elegance to it,” she said.

She complimented the dress with a “cathedral-length veil.” Traditionally, it’s longer than the dress, but she proportioned hers to the dress.

The minimalist look of the dress allowed her, she said, to embelish it with jewelry.
