Lima, 32, sizzles with an exotic beauty that helped launch her career at 15, when she won a Brazilian “supermodel” contest staged by Ford models. She finished second in Ford’s world competition.

She turned professional in 1999 at the age of 18 and skyrocketed. She walked in her first Victoria’s Secret fashion show the same year and was hired to its elite corps of Angels in 2000.

She’s walked in every Victoria’s Secret fashion show since she started except in 2009 when she was pregnant with her first child. In 2012, she opened the show for the fifth time less than two months after giving birth to her second child.

While the lingerie and swimsuit company has become her signature brand, Adriana has built an extensive portfolio of work for a wide variety of brands such as Armani, Versace, BCBG and Louis Vuitton.

She also famously starred in three Super Bowl ads, including a 2008 solo appearance for Victoria’s Secret and two Super Bowl commercials in one game in 2012 for Kia Motors and online flower service Teleflora.

For her Interview shoot, Adriana wears minimal clothing and is topless in some shots, although her arms are strategically folded across her chest. The theme is Spartan and her makeup is scant.
