Thoroughly British Emma Watson is the face — and body — for thoroughly British Burberry in a newly released advertising campaign for the UK fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2010 lines.
Her lesser known, but equally attractive brother, Alex, is one of four men at her side.
Watson, of “Harry Potter” fame, shows off three collections, Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London and Burberry Brit, in the spread by legendary photographer Mario Testino.
The campaign “celebrates our heritage and our timeless Burberry icons,” according to Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative Officer.
“The energy of the images and the dynamic cast reflect the different attitudes and expressions of the Burberry guy and girl.”
Besides her brother, the men in Emma’s shoot include two musicians and a models, with thoroughly British roots as well.
Matt Gilmour is the son of Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and Max Hurd is the grandson of former British foreign secretary Douglas Hurd. George Craig rounds out the group.
Emma’s latest Burberry ads will start rolling out in fashion magazines this month. Watson is all clothes and all business in the ads.
