Elle Fanning poses for one of her most sensual photo shoots yet in French magazine Madame Figaro.
She teams up with Melanie Laurent for some tender intimacy. That appears to include a peak at Elle’s breast. Oh, those naughty French.
There’s some definite older woman/younger woman vibe between fanning, 20, and Laurent, 35, a French actress, singer, pianist, screenwriter and director.
Laurent is the winner of two César Awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars. She scored a breakout, at least for American audiences, for her role in Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 movie, “Inglourious Basterds.” She played French seductress and resistance fighter.
Fanning has been America’s film sweetheart ever since her debut in the 2001 movie drama “I Am Sam,” starring Sean Penn. He played her father with a disability. She scored a breakout of her own in the 2011 sci-fi-drama “Super 8.”
But Fanning is leaving behind young adult roles for meatier parts. As such, she’s able to express her sexuality.
She’s set to appear with Timothée Chalamet, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber in the Woody Allen film “A Rainy Day in New York.” It’s currently in post-production.
Laurent directed Fanning in “Galveston,” a drama based on a novel by Nic Pizzolatto, published in 2010. The film premiered last year at South-by-Southwest music and art festival, in Austin, TX. Fanning plays a prostitute on the run.
The French actress said she fell in love with Elle at first sight. Now, she considers the American actress her muse. She’s already thinking about future collaborations, she tells the magazine.
It’s not hard to see why. Check out a trailer for the movie below. Melanie also caresses her breast in another photo.
