Alyssa Miller is an All-American girl. After all, she was born on the Fourth of July. But to call her a firecracker in photographer Greg Kadel’s steamy new video would be misleading. She’s more like a slow burn.

Miller’s profile has been on the rise since she debuted in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

The 20-year-old jetted off to Fiji, bikini in hand, to pose for renown photographer Walter Iooss, Jr.

Then, it was off to Maui in Hawaii for more bikini beach time with photographer Bjorn Iooss

She also posed nude in body paint in the Swimsuit Issue. Joanne Gair painted her and Stewart Shining photographed her in New York City.

Like many American models, Miller is probably better known overseas.

She covered the October 2006 German Vogue when she was just 16 and posed last year, ironically for the July issue of Italian Elle.

Her latest project is a collaboration with Greg Kadel, an up and coming fashion photographer, whose stunning video photo shoot of Miller shows her through an amber-colored lens.

Kadel has photographed mostly for American Vogue and its international editions and counts among his celebrity subjects Britney Spears, Megan Fox, Casey Affleck and Stella McCartney.
