Fashion model Daisy Lowe dispenses with the fashions in her new spread for Playboy magazine. Instead, she frolics in the buff festooned with flowers. Daisies, of course.

Daisy, 22, is the daughter of English singer-songwriter turned fashion designer Pearl Lowe and rocker Gavin Rossdale, who plays guitar for the Bush and is married to pop star Gwen Stefani.

Lowe gets full feature treatment in an eight-page spread that shows her completely, full-frontal nude, sunning herself next to a pool.

Daisy was the result of a one-night stand by her mother with Rossdale, who has often been rumored to be gay.

He admits to some homosexual dalliances in his youth.

Lowe says she only found out when she was 15 that Rossdale was her father. She always thought her mother’s current husband, drummer Danny Goffey, was her father.

“My whole life I thought my father was someone different. But Gavin and Gwen are really good people, and I value so much the time we get together,” she said.

“After seven years we’ve worked out how to be a family. I guess you can’t deny my rock-and-roll heritage! Both my parents – or all four of them – have done well in the music scene,” she said.

“I’ve grown up with rock and roll, but that’s not who I am. People think rock chick is code for ‘parties hard.’ But I don’t. In reality I’m a homebody.

“I love going to bed at midnight – apart from when I’m in Paris for fashion shows,” she says.

Lowe may be low key, but she’s also free spirited and certainly comfortable in her own skin.

She’s posed nude before for i-D and Paradis magazines and has modeled risque lingerie for Agent Provocateur.

She’s also modeled for Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel and Topshop and was featured in the acclaimed 2010 Pirelli calendar.

“It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week,” she says of the experience.

Keeping to her rock roots, Daisy follows Mick Jagger‘s daughter, Elizabeth Jagger, who also appeared nude in the magazine.
