Anna Speckhart a Sexy Free Spirit for Finland’s Trendi (photos!)

Anna Speckhart embodies ’60s-era, counter-culture chic in Finland’s Trendi magazine. Yet, she also conveys a sense of seductiveness and free-spirit that marked the Age of Aquarius.

Speckhart, 23, wears knitted dresses, t-shirts, fur and turquoise jewelry that hints of Janis Joplin. Stylist Henna Koskinen put together the look and photographer Jason Lee Parry captured Anna in beautiful forest surroundings.

Her hair is long and wavy, while her makeup by Karoliina Kangas is au natural.

She is right at home in the magazine’s back-to-nature setting. “I’m from the epitome of middle America,” she told WWD in an interview last December. upbringing. “It’s teeny tiny. There are only about 4,000 people.”

She left her hometown and headed for Los Angeles to try her hand at modeling, hoping to raise enough money to afford out-of-state tuition at the University of Missouri. “My first two jobs were Forever 21 and Abercrombie & Fitch.”

“It was an extreme culture shock. I mean Pittsfield is a super rural community. We have a lot of farmers. It’s the pig and deer capital of the world, which is like our claim to fame. But I loved living in L.A. I want to build a house on the beach there one day.” she says.

But she soon broke into the industry and really hasn’t looked back. “If you do it the right way, you can make a lot of money. After I started doing really well [in LA], I decided to put off school and focus on modeling. I thought I might as well give it a real shot,” she said.

She has appeared in magazines all over the world, including Elle France, Glamour (US & France), Harper’s Bazaar Spain, Vogue Nippon, Allure and now Trendi, one of Finland’s leading fashion magazines.

She’s currently signed with Vision in LA, Marilyn in New York, Elite in Miami, D-Management in Milan and Viva Models in Barcelona, London and Paris, according to WWD.

Despite becoming an international model, she’s still down to earth. “I’m not a fashionista. I can be open about the fact that I’m so oblivious to this whole world around me,” she explains.

“I’m a really private person so I don’t really talk about [work] at home. That’s work Anna and this is normal Anna.”

The normal Anna seems so sweet, but the work Anna is stunning as well. Check out her photos.
