Kim was spotted wearing the boots with an all-white dress in Paris with rapper Kanye West.
Kim has doggedly worn fur and leather products and sold them in her clothing store, despite repeated protests. She’s headed PETA’s “Worst Celebrity” list for years. The group plastered her on a giant billboard for wearing fox fur.
In March, Christina Cho, who is known for dramatic anti-fur protests, allegedly showered Kim in white baking flour as she walked the red carpet for the launch of her perfume, True Reflection. Kim, however, has refused to budge.
The Christian Louboutin boots reportedly cost more than $5,000 so Kim was engaging in a little conspicuous consumption as well.
“They’d go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else,” Wendy Wegner, a spokesperson for PETA, aka People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals told RadarOnline.
It’s against the law in California, where Kim lives, to import python into the state for commercial purposes, to posses with intent to sell, or sell it the state. But it’s legal to purchase python products in another state and bring it into California. Go figure.
