Belgian-French model Alice Baton is featured in searingly hot swimsuits in a new photo spread for Io Donna, the women’s magazine of Italy’s leading newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Baton channels the athleticism as well as the sensuality of female Olympic competitors. The games are scheduled to begin in London, and Olympic fever is sweeping Europe.
Photographer Gianluca Fontana shot Baton posing in sexy black one-piece swimsuits, a white bikini and other designs for IO Donna’s June issue. The shoot is titled “Doppio Gioco,” or “Double Play.” Alessandra Corvasce handled styling.
The designs are described as “sculptural and sensual, aggressive and ultra-feminine.” The line is inspired by Lisa Lyon, a pioneer female body builder and esthete, who was photographed in the ’80s by Helmut Newton and Robert Mapplethorpe.
Clothing and accessories are by Fendi, Gucci, Bulgari, Goldenlady-Goldenpoint, Max Mara, Tiffany & Co. and Moschino.
The statuesque 5-foot, 11-inch tall model currently resides in Paris. Check out her photos below. Click to enlarge.
