Karlie Kloss continues to score high-end fashion assignments. She’s photographed against some stunning backdrops in Nicaragua for the cover feature of The New York Times’ T Magazine winter travel issue.

The Chicago native, who was raised in St. Louis, teamed with photographer Ryan McGinley and fashion editor Sara Moonves, the daughter of CBS President and Chief Executive Les Moonves.

Karlie, who turned 20 in August, sports resortwear by Chanel, Balenciaga, Salvatore Ferragamo and Chloé.

Karlie Kloss Wild in Nicaragua’s Hills

Kloss has literally rocketed onto the modeling scene. She was discovered at a charity fashion show in a St. Louis mall, walking in a show held for a friend who was battling cancer.

Last year she was declared New York Fashion Week’s top model. She walked 30 runways for the show’s top brands, including 3.1 phillip lim, Vera Wang, and Narciso Rodriguez. She also earned prestige spots, closing for Marc by Marc Jacobs, opening for Carolina Herrera, and winning both assignments at Doo.Ri.

She also rocked the fashion world last year with a stunning photo spread in Vogue Italia. Kloss showed off her extremely tight and toned body in a series of nude shots that were both mesmerizing and disturbing at the same time.
