But her cool elegance is thrown off in one photo that makes her look anthropomorphically challenged at best, and ghoulish at worst. The 26-year-old singer’s deal with the fashion house marked a major breakthrough for her into the world of high fashion. Del Rey has model good looks and is statuesque, even though she’s a tad short for the runway at five-feet, seven-inches tall. Lana Del Rey Debuts ‘Burning Desire’ at Jaguar Launch (photos)

Lana Del Rey launched her second big brand deal at Musée Rodin in Paris yesterday (Sept. 27). She introduced the new Jaguar F-Type sports car at a swank coming out party that included her debut of a new song. The tune, “Burning Desire,” purportedly inspired by the car, will be one of eight new tracks on her amped up Born to Die album, “The Paradise Edition.” “Burning Desire” will also be used as the soundtrack for a short film starring Golden Globe nominee and Emmy Award winning actor Damian Lewis. Jaguar is creating the short in association with Ridley Scott Associates, the production arm of the noted sci-fi director....

Lana Del Rey was back in front of the camera for Swedish fashion retailer H&M in a moody display of their Autumn collection. Del Rey was confirmed to be repping their fall line back in July but the collection of images for her first modeling campaign has just been released. H&M likes the indie singer’s style so much, it’s also incorporating a video of her singing “Blue Velvet” in the campaign. She has described her look as “gangsta Nancy Sinatra.” after the famed ’60s singer and daughter of Frank Sinatra. She’s also been compared with early Priscilla Presley around the time of her marriage to Elvis....
