One of “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson’s early movies, “The Bad Mother’s Handbook,” is now available for the first time in the United States on DVD.
Based on the No. 1 international bestselling book by Kate Long, the movie stars Rob opposite Catherine Tate of the BBC’s “Doctor Who” along with Anne Reid (Hot Fuzz) and Holly Grainger (BBC’s “Demons”).
The film made its DVD, Digital Download and On Demand premiere on August 24th for the suggested retail price of $26.98. But you can buy the DVD through a special Improper offer at Amazon.com for as little as $16.46. Just click on the link.
Daniel (Pattinson), the shy nerd at school, has a crush on popular gal-pal Charlotte (Grainger) and he would do anything for her. When she discovers she is going to be a teenage mom, Daniel tries to help with all of the stress, drama and anxiety that comes with it.
The drama unfolds as Daniel tags along with the dysfunctional family of three independent and outspoken women during the emotional ride of motherhood and adolescent woes. The next nine months become a journey of courage and strength filled with laughter, love and tears.
The comedy is rated PG-13 for sexual content, language, thematic elements and some smoking. The film aired in 2007, more than a year before the first Twilight movie debuted!
Before the BBC film, Pattinson appeared in 2005 as Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.”
