Paltrow, 40, has, let’s call it a healthy normal sexual appetite, as Phoebe. She meets Adam, played by Mark Ruffalo, at a party.
The two start a relationship, but Adam can’t bring himself to tell her that he has a sex appetite is uncontrollable. She slowly discovers it, and finally confronts him. She’s drawn into his world through his therapy group.
The film also stars Tim Robbins, Joely Richardson, Josh Gad, Patrick Fugit and Alicia Beth Moore, better known as punk-rock singer Pink, who is a scene stealer.
Pink is the only woman in the 12-step therapy group. “There’s a lot of dudes in here. My other program isn’t such a sausage fest,” she says.
Phoebe knowledge of the affliction is limited at best. “Isn’t that something just some guys say when they get caught cheating?” she asks.
The movie hits theaters Sept. 13. Check out the hilarious clip below and be sure to follow TheImproper on twitter for all the latest movie updates.
