Moretz has been acting since she was eight years old, so she is an industry veteran in every sense of the word.
Her big breakthrough came in 2010 in Director Matthew Vaughn’s action film “Kick-Ass.” She played a self-style superhero called “Hit-Girl,” a potty-mouthed 12-year-old with a solid right hook.
She cause a firestorm of controversy because of her salty dialogue in the film, which included using the c-word. She’ll reprise her role in the sequel “Kick-Ass 2” due to hit theaters in August.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse also reprise their roles and they’re joined by Jim Carrey, who plays Col. Stars and Stripes, the leader of the Kick Ass heroes squad.
Moretz, who has been criticized for her over-sexualization in fashion spreads, is also making inroads into haute couture. She appeared recently at the Dior Spring/Summer show 2013 at Paris Fashion Week.
