Jennifer Aniston added Kale to her diet to train for We’re the Millers bikini scenes.

Jennifer Aniston strips down more than once in her new movie “We’re the Millers” with Jason Sudeikis. At 44, she looks better than ever and reveals in a new interview how she prepared for the daring role.

Playing a hot stripper, she says, required some extra dieting and fitness training, but she didn’t starve herself or fast.

Instead, Aniston chowed down on a high-protein diet that included lots of kale, an age-old vegetable that’s considered one of the healthiest foods in the world.

Kale, a wild cabbage,is also related to broccoli, cauliflower and collard greens. Up through the Middle Ages, it was one of the most widely consumed vegetables in Europe. It’s been found in the diets of ancient Romans and Greeks as far back as the 4th Century BC.

Kale is high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C and calcium. The leafy green veggie is also a source of two carotenoids that are considered to have potent anti-cancer properties.

“I [ate] greens and vegetables and lean proteins and kale. When I really wanted to have a cheat day, I had to have a kale chip,” she told Access Hollywood. Kale can be made into chips that are just like potato chips, only healthier.

The best way to eat it is steamed, which also unlocks cholesterol-lowering benefits, according to the The George Mateljan Foundation, a non-profit group that promotes healthy eating.

“I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to,” she said. “I don’t starve myself in an extremist way. My advice: just stop eating sh*t every day.”
