The movie is significant because crowd-funding from Web site Kickstarter made production possible. It raised $5.7 million from just under 92,000 donors, according to the site. Warner Bros. will distribute the film in the United States, Mar. 14.
In the new trailer, Bell displays all of the steely resolve and knife-edged toughness of her neo-noir character in one hot package. “New Girl” star Max Greenfield and “Breaking Bad” actress Krysten Ritter also star.
