Olivia Wilde and Oscar Isaac co-star in “Life Itself,” another comedy, drama about intersecting lives and the human condition in New York City and Spain. In a new trailer, they engage in a passionate conversation about love.
The film, written and directed by Dan Fogelman, includes an all-star cast, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Laia Costa, Annette Bening and Antonio Banderas.
Olivia plays Abby and Oscar plays Will, who is so smitten he promises to love Abby in any way and any level she wants, so long as she loves him.
In the movie, a young New York couple goes from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child. The unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes, according to the movie’s synopsis.
In many ways, Wilde’s character parallels her own life. She began dating actor, comedian, and screenwriter Jason Sudeikis in 2011. They have two children: Otis Alexander Sudeikis, four, and Daisy Josephine Sudeikis, two.
Wilde was married once before in 2003 to Prince Tao Ruspoli, a member of the aristocratic Ruspoli family, owner of the famed palazzo in Italy, who dabbles in film and music. They divorced in 2011.
Wilde will be directing her next project, “Booksmart,” an upcoming comedy from a screenplay by Emily Halpern, Sarah Haskins, Katie Silberman and Susanna Fogel.
It stars Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, Noah Galvin and Billie Lourd.
