Jon Hamm is a girl’s worst nightmare in bed in the new Universal comedy “Bridesmaids.” A new “red band” trailer provides a glimpse of the action with co-star Kristen Wiig, who is the maid of honor.

The movie focuses on Lilian (Maya Rudolph), who announces her engagement and asks best friend Annie (Wiig) to be her maid of honor.

Annie doesn’t know if she is quite up to the task as she assembles the other bridesmaids, a mixed bunch played by Ellie Kemper, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and Wendi McLendon-Covey.

The move, directed by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow, Barry Mendel and Clayton Townsend plays off of every wedding stereotype and cliché for laughs.

The film is being billed as a female version of bachelor party nightmare “The Hangover,” without the mystery of a lost weekend.

All hell breaks loose, of course, when the group travels to Las Vegas to party.

On a sad note, the film marks the final appearance of Jill Clayburgh on the big screen. She died from leukemia last November after shooting on the film had wrapped.

It hits theaters May 13th. Check out the trailer below. It contains no nudity.
