“Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson hasn’t given up dreaming about a singing career. A video filmed in January a year ago, shows him performing at Songs from a Room, an intimate club for singer/songwriters.
Rob had hopes of becoming a singer until a little movie called “Twilight” intervened, making him an international celebrity.
The movie phenomenon left him little time to pursue his alternative career and any club would be instantly mobbed once Twihards found out Rob was performing.
But every now and then, he’s been able to sneak in a performance like the one caught on video.
The song, “It’s All On You,” is a folk-rock ballad and Rob sounds like a higher-pitched Bob Dylan.
Rob is currently appearing in “Water for Elephants” with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz and wrapped production on the last two Twilight movies, “Breaking Dawn, Part 1 and Part 2.”
Here are some of the lyrics; check out the song below. One video is a live clip, the other is a six minute audio
“It’s all on you, baby
You turned your back when I tried to learn
Still I cannot lift my eyes
If your hands are turning mine
But you dared not
What you said our souls could contain
They could contain
But now I’m gone
With a broken twisted soul in mind
But for how long?
‘Cause I’ve wasted this train of youth all on you, all on you.”
