Anne Hathaway knows a thing or two about rap–apparently. She channels Lil’ Wayne to rhyme down on the heads of the ever present paparazzi to a wide-eyed Conan O’Brien last night (Aug. 17.).
Hathaway has proved her versatility as an actress, starring in a wide variety of roles from rom-coms like “The Princess Diaries” to fantasies like Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland.”
In her latest role, she plays Catwoman in the new Batman movie “The Dark Knight Rises.”
But now the 28-year-old actress is moving into the same league as Gwyneth Paltrow as one of Hollywood’s most talented actresses.
She has spot on comedic timing, is sassy and can free verse to boot.
Conan set up the rap with a question:
“I’ve heard, occasionally, like all of us, you get frustrated, you get angry about something that happens to you, either at work or in your private life and you like to vent it through song-writing. Is that right?
“With all stuff that’s been going with Batman, she deadpanned, “the paparazzi attention has been a little intense, so I actually wrote a rap song about it.”
