Kate Winslet, Cast Rage in New Carnage Trailer (watch!) 1 Roman Polanski’s comeback movie, “Carnage” is being featured in new trailer. The film’s all-star cast flex their flair for the dramatic as they meltdown over a simple spat between their children.

Polanski, 77, was snared by Swiss authorities on a U.S. warrant for his arrest for fleeing the United States to avoid sentencing in a 1977 case involving the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl.

“Carnage,” based on the Tony-winning Broadway play, is his first film since the Swiss refused to extradite him to the United States to face sentencing for his infamous crime.

He was freed and returned to France, where he’s lived since fleeing the country.

In the clip, Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly go through various stages of meltdown as their meeting brings out the worst in their personalities.

The picture will zero in on the couples as their meeting turns into a nasty confrontation, They delve into homophobia, racial prejudice, misogyny and, ultimately, the weaknesses in their own marriages.

The film is expected to be released in November, and is expected to be screened at the Cannes, Toronto and Venice Film festivals, where it’s eagerly anticipated.
