She appears in this month’s Esquire “Me and My Place,” photo spread and gives new meaning to being invited over for a cup of hot java.
The next best place to catch Claire is on TNT, where she plays DA Assistant Janie Ross opposite Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who play unconventional lawyers in “Franklin & Bash.”

Before that, the 31-year-old actress was best known for a recurring role as Cassie Tatum in three episodes of “The West Wing,” in 2003.
She also appeared from 2007 to 2009 on the daytime soap “General Hospital” as nurse Nadine Crowell.
On the NBC series “Grimm,” she plays attorney/witch Adalind Schade.
The show has been described as “a cop drama—with a twist…a dark and fantastical project about a world in which characters inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist,” according to the Oregonian newspaper.
Coffee was born in San Francisco and has a degree in theater from Northwestern University in Illinois, which turned her into a football fan.
I went to a Big 10 school for college. Northwestern. And I went to every game while I was there,” she says.
As for the pros, she’s solidly behind the San Francisco 49ers.
“I grew up in the heyday of the 49ers — Joe Montana and Steve Young.
“Around the holidays, when you’re supposed to have your kids take a picture with Santa Claus, my mom took us to take a picture with Ray Wersching, The Niners kicker.”
